Windsor or Bust

Colchester Shoal light/platform.
We had a pleasant night at Scudders Marine (actually the public ferry wharf ... read ... "free") after a hot night on the boat (31 degrees!).

According to a friendly sailor from Erieau, if you leave Pelee Island at 7am, we can be at Windsor by 4:50pm.  Really ... +-10 minutes?   Guess he's done it many times and has it down to a well established routine.  That kind of accuracy is beyond our capabilities.  We departed the dock just after 8am.

Anyway ... We're about 1/2 way to the mouth of the Detroit river.  Hot and Hazy, and the wind is light and on the nose, so we gave up sailing for the motor in favour of navigating the busy Detroit River is daylight.

I seem to get Rogers coverage here at the West end of the lake, so while we bob along, I figured I toss in a post  while there's not too much else to do.
